Discussion: Compiling Resume Resources

Instructions

Search online for a website, video, podcast, pdf or presentation that offers good advice for creating effective resumes.  Write a short post describing the item and a summary or list of the career skills information you learned from it.  Upload or link the resource to this discussion forum. 

Note:  Check your classmates’ postings first, because you don’t want to duplicate the same source that has already been posted. 

Part 2  Analyze the attached resume and write a short post that critiques it. You won’t be able to cover everything so choose some of the major problems. Then rewrite/redesign the resume according to the guidelines in our course.  You can make-up and/or delete details as needed. Post your revised resume along with your critique.
