In the American Constitution, the Parliamentary subdivision outlined in Article I comprises of the House of Representatives and the Senate. The authorities given to the president in this Article include being the commander in chief of the armed forces of the United States of America and the leader of the country. Similar to Article I the presidential duties in Article II include being the commander-in-chief and leader of America among others. However, Article I gives absolute power to the Legislative such that the President cannot proclaim any Legislative power while Article II gives the President supremacies such as the authority to give exonerations and approving legislation, therefore Presidential duties being much more ambiguous

The most vital constitutional provision of the executive power is the power of executing and enforcing the Parliamentary regulations as well as being the commander-in-chief of the armed forces. Armed forces include the American Army, Navy, Air Force, etc. Being the principal leader of the militaries is a key role for the President since the role makes them responsible for the country’s as well as the public’s security. Therefore, the American President should ensure cooperation with the armed militaries so as to execute his authority appropriately.

Further, the executive role of implementing the laws made by Congress house is an essential constitutional provision of the presidential supremacy since it prevents the formulation and approval of unconstitutional laws. Even though the president cannot shield the approval of civic laws since the constitution forbids the President from refusing civic laws, the President of the United States plays a major role in the prevention of illegitimate rules. The power also subjects the president to appoint cabinet secretaries thus also making it an important presidential power.
